Keep Pushing
The hardest thing for me is finding the time to get to the gym. I've made it a priority lately to get there, and doing that I've seen the results I've wanted to see.
I am constantly 15Lb lighter then I was pre-baby, 57Lb lighter then I was the last day of my pregnancy!.
For me the results that I've seen aren't just numbers, I've seen myself change and become stronger, I'm finding new muscles that I didn't realize was under the fat. But the biggest result I've seen through my journey is my confidence.
August 2015
- I started around that time frame. My weight was close to my pre-baby weight so around 155.
Where I started was key, I didn't just think hitting the gym was going to do it. It had to be a lifestyle change for me. I researched everything I could about different meal plans, "diets", all that fun stuff. I decided that if I wanted to get to my end goal I needed something that was going to keep me there and something that I was comfortable with doing for the rest of my life.
I had watched some YouTube
videos and people kept talking about Macros, so I looked into it. After reading what I had I decided it was something that Id be able to do, not just a fad diet, but a legit lifestyle change.
I'm about to my 1 year anniversary of tracking my Macros, I don't think I would have seen the results I have if I hadn't started. It has taught me to be conscious of what I'm eating, what I'm fueling my body with.
June 2016
-I'm currently 135.5lb.
One thing I wish I would have done was taken measurements. Although I see the results on the scale, and in my clothing, it would have been nice to see the numbers change
Current routine
- I get to the gym 4-5 times a week
--Most days I hit full body. I don't usually get a ton of time to spend in the gym, an hour most days, but I use my time well.
I'm a true believer in if you want something youll work hard enough to get there. You just need a good support system who will hold you accountable, and push you to meet your goals.
