Welcome Home

While I've been MIA for a while, there's been some amazing changes that has happened in my life.

July 2nd, after 324 days (some longer than others) my boyfriend, best friend, better half, however you want to put, it got home for deployment. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind, a crazy, fun, happy one.  Adjusting to home life is a process, and everyone does it differently. We've been running, we finally had our first night of just hanging at home relaxing, and instead of that we took the girls to the park. But that's us, we enjoy spending time together watching the girls have fun.

In the last year I've learned a lot about myself, and what I deserve. I think God puts people in your life for a reason, you may not know what that reason is at the beginning but you'll find out as long as you wait and see.  We met 6 years ago, if you would have told me then we'd end up together I wouldn't have believed you. But I'm glad we did! Life is amazing that way.

--Looking forward--
Needless to say, its been challenging to get everything done in one day. With how crazy things have been the gym time has taken a back seat the last two weeks with trying to get schedules figured out, plus running as much as we have to see everyone we can. Saturday is d-day, I'm starting a new goal set. New supplements get here Friday, so there's no reason to wait.

Tuesday was the first day I've jumped on a squat rack. Having my number 1 spotter there I feel 100% more comfortable doing it. It's weird to me to have someone there helping me, but I noticed how much more competitive I am when he is there. He pushed me, and when I was ready to give up, I could see him looking at me and I couldn't fail in front of him.

What are some of your personal goals?
More posts to come about my new goal set!..
